Their day
Claudia and Nicola were married on 7 June 2025. A church ceremony, then arrival in a Beetle at Borgo La Caccia, in Monzambano, near Lake Garda: portraits among the vineyards and stone courtyards, drinks in the garden, dinner outdoors under the fairy lights and a party late into the night.
We followed them from getting ready to the party, with photography and drone footage, and we had already photographed them before the wedding together with their little girl. Here are the photographs, in the order the day unfolded.
The story
Nicola got ready at home, with friends sorting out his cufflinks and tie, the green jacket with a buttonhole flower and hugs with the family, then a walk down the street with his friends. Claudia, with her friends in dressing gowns on the bed, make-up, wavy hair and the dress hanging in the window; then the dress on, the earrings, a hug with their little girl dressed in white, and the veil.
Claudia arrived in a black convertible Beetle decorated with white bows and walked into a church hung with red drapes, with a chequered floor and the altar full of white flowering branches. The exchange of rings, the kiss, the signing and the bouquet of lilac roses. On the way out, a shower of rice on the steps, filmed by the drone too.
We arrived at Borgo La Caccia in the Beetle. Portraits among the vines, along the paths and in the stone courtyard already laid for dinner, and some aerial shots with the drone over the hamlet and the surrounding vineyards.
Drinks under white parasols, with a raw seafood buffet, a run across the lawn with friends and a heart formed by the guests, seen from the drone. Then the seating plan on the old well, bottles bearing the couple’s names and dinner outdoors in the courtyard, where the guests welcomed them waving their napkins.
As the sky took on colour we went out for portraits: between the columns, on the stone steps, in front of the arched doorway with the veil in the wind, lying on the lawn and filmed from above by the drone, with a double exposure and a panorama of the hamlet.
The party in the courtyard under the fairy lights, the cake cutting amid sparkler fountains, the bouquet toss and the first dance by the fountain amid confetti and sparks. Their friends tossed the groom into the air and, late at night, the last portraits in the cellar among the barrels.
