The story

How it went, moment by moment

Getting ready

Diego got ready by the window light: white shirt, blue suit and a red rose in his buttonhole. For Chiara, make-up, her hair styled with a clip, her shoes, the wedding rings and finally the white off-the-shoulder dress.

The ceremony in the park

The ceremony took place in the castle grounds, among white chairs, red flowers and the pergola. Chiara’s walk down the path, the exchange of rings, the sand ceremony with coloured bottles, the signing and the kiss to the applause of the guests.

The couple at the castle

After the ceremony, a few portraits on the threshold of the castle’s wooden door and along the garden paths, then an embrace on the terrace overlooking the hills.

Aperitif and portraits in the grounds

The aperitif, with cured meats, cheeses and small bites served on the terrace, while the dining room stood ready with its tables and red runners. In the late-afternoon light we went back into the grounds: the stone steps, the great tree and the castle façade.

Dinner, cake and party

Dinner in the gilded room, with the couple moving between the tables and the first dances. In the evening, the cake cutting in the garden amid coloured smoke and light fountains, the bouquet toss, and then the first dance and the party under the veranda.
