How it went, moment by moment

Getting ready at home

Raffaele got ready amid the final details: the shoes, the cufflinks, the blue jacket hanging in the window and the buttonhole pinned on by the page boy. Meanwhile Alessia, among golden balloons, make-up and hair, right up to the dress and the bouquet of red and white roses.

The church ceremony

Alessia arrived by car and was walked down the aisle to the altar. The exchange of the rings brought by the page boy, the signing, the kiss at the altar and the exit under a shower of rice, onto a heart of petals laid out in front of the church.

Portraits by the lake

After the ceremony we moved to the lakeshore, with the mountains in the background. The tall grass, the veil in the wind and the shade of the great trees on the shore.

Arrival at Villa Giardino

The tree-lined avenue with its statues, the flowering pergola and the drinks reception in the garden under the parasols. Then the couple’s entrance into the hall amid light fountains, the speeches, dancing between the tables and the waving of napkins.

Sunset and the cake

In the sunset light Alessia and Raffaele went back to the villa’s avenue and out among the vineyards for portraits. On the lawn, the white cake with red roses, the cutting amid coloured smoke and light fountains, the guests arranged in a heart as seen from the drone, and the bouquet toss.

The party

The evening carried on in the hall with the DJ, the couple’s dance under coloured lights and the party with friends into the night.
