The story

How it went, moment by moment

Getting ready

Luigi got ready at home with his family, with cufflinks, tie and buttonhole flower, while outside the gate his friends had hung a banner in dialect. Nicole in her room, with make-up, her friends in green and blue, the dress with ruffled sleeves and the step out of the door with the red shutters, to the white Mustang waiting in the street.

The church ceremony

The church, with its arched portico covered in greenery, was decorated with candles and brightly coloured flowers. The bride’s walk up the path, the bridesmaids with flower crowns, the exchange of rings, the kiss and the signing; then the walk out under a shower of petals and confetti, in front of the heart drawn on the paving.

La Casina, historic residence

After a few portraits on a Vespa along the tree-lined avenue, the couple arrived in the Mustang in the courtyard of La Casina, among porticoes, climbing plants and the lawn with its well. Drinks with a buffet and live music, the “Find your seat” seating plan and dinner in the hall with brick vaults and columns, amid waving napkins and toasts.

Sunset portraits

After games on the lawn and the heart formed by the guests, filmed from above by the drone, we went out in the evening light: the entrance arch, the pergola with fairy lights, the little octagonal brick chapel and the garden paths.

Cake, first dance and party

In the evening, on the lit lawn, the shoe game and Nicole at the microphone wearing “N+L” glasses. Then the dessert table, the cutting of the tiered cake among flowers and lights, the first dance with the guests lighting the scene with their phones, the bouquet toss and the party into the night.
