The story

How it went, moment by moment

Fabio getting ready

The blue suit hanging at the window, white shoes, the bow tie and socks printed with a photo of the couple. Then the cufflinks, the jacket and a few portraits on the balcony, before heading down to the garden to wait for Elisa.

Elisa’s arrival

Elisa arrives by car at the avenue of green arches and walks arm in arm along the path towards the ceremony. A hug with Fabio on the lawn, then the entrance among the guests under the marquee.

The civil ceremony

Under the white canopy, among arrangements of roses and daisies, the readings, the exchange of rings and the kiss. Signing the register and the exit to the applause of the guests.

The aperitif and the venue

The couple walk down towards the pool while the guests wait for them under the parasols. A toast with the hills in the background, live music, a buffet of cured meats, oysters and small bites, and a caricaturist sketching the guests.

Sunset portraits

In the evening light, Elisa and Fabio pause on the courtyard staircase, among the vines, under the green arches of the avenue and in front of the large wooden gate. Laughter and quiet moments, just the two of them.

Dinner, cake and party

The entrance into the hall amid waving napkins, toasts at the tables and candlelight. Then the cake cutting outdoors among light fountains and coloured smoke, the groom tossed in the air by his friends, and the party with the DJ late into the night.
