The story

How it went, moment by moment

Getting ready

Michael gets dressed with help from his friends: cufflinks, waistcoat, the patterned jacket and a hug for his mum before leaving. Giusy with make-up and hair, a toast with her bridesmaids in teal dresses and her lace gown, then out under the flower arch beside her dad.

The ceremony beneath the little temple

The white aisle, lined with arrangements of white and blue flowers, leads up to the little temple overlooking the hills. Giusy walks in with her dad, then the readings, the vows read by the couple and the exchange of rings. The kiss comes amid rainbow smoke and the applause of the guests.

Portraits among columns and gardens

After the ceremony, the first shots in the hall set in white and blue and under the arch with the bell. At sunset, portraits along the avenues, among stone walls and cypresses, with the bridesmaids, their friends and their little dog.

Dinner and the cake

The entrance into the hall to applause, with a violin accompanying the evening. After dark, the tunnel of sparklers, then the cake cutting beneath the temple lit in blue and the bouquet toss.

The first dance and the party

The first dance among fountains of light, the word LOVE drawn with sparklers and then the dance floor: coloured lights, the DJ and friends dancing until late into the night.
