The story

How it went, moment by moment

Getting ready

Simone got ready with family and friends, with the blue jacket and its chain, the cufflinks and the orange flower in his buttonhole. Stefania with her friends in dressing gowns, between make-up, pillows thrown in the air, toasts and the white dress put on by the window.

The ceremony among the olive trees

The ceremony took place outdoors, on the villa’s lawn among olive trees and cypresses, with white chairs and colourful gerberas along the aisle. The bride’s entrance, the readings, the coloured sand ceremony, the exchange of rings, the kiss, the signing and the walk out under a shower of petals.

Toast and aperitif

The couple entered the courtyard through white smoke, bouquet raised, for the first toast. Then drinks, with the seating plan of tables named after colours, games on the lawn and, from above, the guests arranged in a heart around the couple.

The portraits

In the afternoon light we went among the olive trees in the park, beside the old stone walls and along the cypress avenue. At sunset, the last portraits in the courtyard, between the vine rows and on the terrace.

Dinner, cake and party

Dinner in the hall with wooden beams and gerberas on the tables, welcomed by guests waving their napkins. In the evening the gerbera cake cut under the floral arch amid the sparkling fountains, the bouquet toss, the first dance in the haze and the party with live saxophone.
