The story

How it went, moment by moment

Getting ready

Alessandro got ready at home: shoes to lace, cufflinks, the blue jacket and the wedding newspaper to leaf through. Yesmina got ready with her friends in pink robes, with make-up, the bouquet of peach roses and the lace dress fastened unhurriedly.

The church ceremony

The bride arrived in a white vintage car. In church, among the flowers lining the aisle, Alessandro lifted Yesmina’s veil; then the vows, the exchange of rings and the signing. On the way out, the kiss on the church steps under a shower of rice.

Portraits at the villa

Once at Villa Malliana, the first portraits: the vintage car in front of the façade, the grand staircase inside with its chandeliers, the path along the pink wall and the first toast in the stone courtyard.

The reception under the trees

Drinks with a buffet, a DJ and live saxophone. Round tables with pink napkins, floral centrepieces and crystal chandeliers hanging from the centuries-old trees. The couple’s entrance to waving napkins, dancing outdoors and all the guests on the lawn in front of the villa.

Sunset in the Italian garden

At sunset we returned with Yesmina and Alessandro to the Italian garden, among the box hedges and the pink façade, for the last portraits of the day.

Cake, first dance and party

After the tunnel of sparklers, the white cake with roses was cut on the lawn amid coloured smoke. Then the first dance in the parquet-floored hall and the party until late.
