The story

How it went, moment by moment

Getting ready

Stefano got ready in the morning with his family, among shirt, buttons and a light jacket. Sara in her room, with the dress hanging in the window, sandals, the wildflower bouquet, make-up and the dress to be fastened before putting on her cape.

Villa Redona

From above, the villa appears in the middle of the vineyards, with its courtyard, garden and stone steps. Before the guests arrived we photographed the set-up: the glass-walled hall with its round tables, the centrepieces, the flower arch and the petals ready for the couple’s exit.

The ceremony under the portico

The ceremony took place under the villa’s portico, with chairs set among the wooden beams and a singer accompanying the moment. Sara came down the garden steps, then the vows read at the microphone, the exchange of rings, the kiss and the walk out under a shower of petals.

Aperitif and lunch

A toast in the garden opened the drinks reception, with the seating plan among the bottles and stalls of cheese and tasting plates. Then the couple’s entrance into the glass-walled hall, welcomed by guests waving their napkins.

Portraits in the park

In the afternoon we explored the villa with Stefano and Sara: the iron gate, the red roses with a view over the village, the cellar with its barrels, the façade with arched windows and the great tree with twisted branches in the park.

Cake and party

The cake was cut under the flower arch, with a toast and a kiss, while the drone filmed the guests arranged in a heart in the courtyard. Then the bouquet toss, the first dance and a party until evening.
