The story

How it went, moment by moment

Getting ready

Cristian got ready at home, with his blue damask jacket, waistcoat and shoes to lace. Gaia in her room with make-up and hair, jewelled shoes, her friends on the bed, the two little girls with flower crowns and the dress with its long train spread out on the parquet.

The church ceremony

The groom waited at the altar, the bride arrived in a white spider and walked down the aisle among white flowers. The exchange of rings at the gilded altar, the kiss under the veil and the walk out in front of the church under a shower of rice.

McDonald’s and the pine wood

After church, an unscheduled stop at McDonald’s, with the spider parked out front and an ice cream in hand. Then photos with friends in a park among the pines: running on the grass, the heart formed by the guests and everyone lying on the grass, filmed from above by the drone.

Villa Re Noir

At Villa Re Noir the newlyweds came in to applause and the guests’ phones, all the way to their table in the garden among white thrones. Portraits inside the big white heart, on the lawn and by the pool, with the villa’s neoclassical façade behind them.

The evening: dancing and cake

In the hall, the couple’s dances, with their families too, and the dance floor surrounded by guests holding up their phone lights. In the evening the cake was cut on a table in the middle of the water, in front of the illuminated villa with the words “A dream come true, I love you” projected onto the façade, and fountains of sparks.
