The story

How it went, moment by moment

Getting ready

Luigi got ready in the afternoon, in his blue suit and tie. Valentina, in a white robe, amid make-up and hair, kisses and hugs from the children on the bed and the dress hanging on the door, then help fastening it and the first photos on the threshold.

The ceremony in the park

The ceremony took place on the villa’s lawn, among white chairs and pots of white flowers, with live violin and keyboard. Luigi waited for Valentina at the end of the aisle of chairs, with the villa behind the guests; then the readings, the exchange of rings, the kiss and the signing, through to the walk out amid petals thrown by the guests.

Drinks in the garden

Finger food, live music and toasts on the lawn in front of the villa. The guests formed a big heart around the couple, filmed from above by the drone, and then everyone ran together towards us.

Portraits in the park

In the warm evening light we stayed in the park: kisses, laughter, Valentina in Luigi’s arms, the couple lying on the grass, seen from the drone too, and a stroll along the path among the hydrangeas.

Sunset in front of the villa

After the entrance into the hall, greeted by guests waving their napkins, we went out again with the last colours in the sky: the white vintage car, the gravel courtyard with box spheres in pots, the lit windows and the steps beneath the colonnaded portico.

Cake and party

The tiered cake was cut in the garden amid fountains of sparks, then Luigi filled the tower of glasses with sparkling wine. The party carried on in the hall with its brick vaults and neon heart.
