The story

How it went, moment by moment

Getting ready

Michele got dressed in a house with stone walls and a wooden staircase: polished shoes, tie straightened, the green suit and cufflinks, with the dog beside him on the sofa and his friends joking around. Lucia, meanwhile, with make-up, hair and a toast with her friends in fuchsia dresses, a little girl always close by.

The dress

The lace dress hanging in the window, the white shoes and the bouquet on the bed. Then the moment of getting dressed, helped by her friends, the reflections in the mirror and the bouquet raised high before leaving.

The church ceremony

Michele waited at the altar as Lucia arrived on her father’s arm, preceded by the little girl in her white dress. A baroque church with a frescoed vault and pews decorated with white flowers: the vows, the exchange of rings, a smile behind her hands and the kiss in the aisle.

Leaving church and portraits

On the way out, a shower of rice under the portico and a kiss among the guests. For the portraits we stayed among the porticoes and the cloister, with the long veil opening in the wind, the well in the middle of the courtyard and a few photos among the cypresses and the vines.

The evening at Carlo Magno

The evening continued at Carlo Magno, through the stone archways and into the courtyard under a ceiling of fairy lights. From above, the drone photographed them lying on the lawn, and the party went on into the night.
