The wedding of Rossella and Massimo

Carlo Magno, Collebeato (BS) · 19 September 2026

Their day

Rossella and Massimo, a whole day at Carlo Magno

Rossella and Massimo were married on 19 September 2026. A church ceremony, portraits among the columns of a Roman temple and in the lanes of the old town, then among the vineyards at sunset, and a reception at Carlo Magno in Collebeato, between its stone halls and a garden lit with fairy lights.

We followed them from getting ready to the party, with photography and drone footage. Here are the photographs, in the order the day unfolded.

The story

How it went, moment by moment

Getting ready

Rossella got ready with make-up, an updo and her lace dress hanging at the window, with her shoes, the rings and a bouquet of pink roses on the bed. Massimo, at his home, adjusted his shirt and tie and put on his blue jacket, then a photo in the garden before leaving.

The church ceremony

Rossella arrived on foot with her father and walked into a bright church, with stained-glass windows and an altar full of white flowers. The exchange of rings, the kiss before the altar and the signing. On the way out, arms raised and a shower of rice in front of the church.

Among the Roman columns

For the portraits we headed into the town centre: a stroll through the lanes, then up the steps of the Roman temple, among ancient columns and pale stone, with the veil lifting in the wind.

Sunset among the vineyards

With the sun low, we moved among the rows of vines, with the hills in the background. Hugs, laughter and a few shots from above with the drone, before returning to Carlo Magno, on the stone staircase among the flowers.

The reception at Carlo Magno

The aperitif in the garden under the pergola, the seating plan, the wedding favours and the stone hall with its arches and round tables. The couple’s entrance was greeted by guests waving their napkins.

Cake and party

The cake was cut in the garden among sparkler fountains, then the bouquet toss on the lawn under the fairy lights. The first dance in the stone hall and a party late into the night.
