The story

How it went, moment by moment

Getting ready

Fabiano got ready at home, with cufflinks, bow tie and his trademark flat cap. Valeria with make-up, her friends dressed in green, purple and blue, the two children on the bed with her, the shoes and the dress with its lace bodice, fastened button by button.

The ceremony under the gazebo

The ceremony took place on the farmhouse lawn, under the ivy-covered gazebo, among wooden chairs and petals on the grass. Valeria’s entrance, the vows read at the microphone with tears and smiles, the rings, the red ribbon tied around their hands, the signing and the kiss, then the walk out to applause.

Aperitif and lunch

A toast in front of the portico, drinks in the garden with a live saxophone and the buffet, while we took the couple into the still-empty hall and beside the old blue cart. Then lunch under the wooden beams, with the seating plan hung on a cartwheel.

An afternoon of games and vineyards

In the afternoon their friends organised games on the lawn, with blindfolds, challenges and laughter. In the late-afternoon light we went among the vines and along the fence by the pond for portraits, and from above the drone filmed the farmhouse and the heart formed by the guests.

Cake, fireworks and party

In the evening the cake was cut under the ceremony gazebo, amid coloured smoke and sparkler fountains, with the couple embracing on the lawn. The bouquet toss, the fireworks and the party in the hall until late.
