The story

How it went, moment by moment

Getting ready

Dupe put on his burgundy suit in the room with the red curtains, between cufflinks, waistcoat and the last touches by the window. Katy got ready with her make-up, then the white gown embroidered with colourful flowers, carefully laced up at the back.

The ceremony under the pergola

The ceremony took place on the farmhouse lawn, under the ivy-covered pergola, among wooden chairs, hay bales and bunches of sunflowers. Katy’s entrance, the vows read at the microphone, the laughter and a toast with bubbly straight after the “I do”.

Among the vines

For the portraits we headed out among the Franciacorta vineyards, with the mountains on the horizon. Then the pond, the little bridge, the barrel by the gate and the farmhouse’s stone portico.

The reception

Tables set with sunflowers and canvas wedding favours, the couple dancing their way into the hall with its exposed beams, the toasts and the games with the guests.

Cake and party

At sunset the cake was cut in the garden, under the pergola from the ceremony. The bouquet toss, the heart formed by the guests seen from the drone, and the party on the dance floor late into the night.
