The story

How it went, moment by moment

Getting ready

Giuseppe got ready with his friends in a blue suit, with a white bow tie, cuffs to adjust and shoes to lace, in a bright room with arched windows. Gaia with her bridesmaids dressed in sage green: make-up, the buttons of the dress fastened one by one, the silver sandals and the bouquet of white flowers.

The civil ceremony in the garden

The ceremony took place outdoors, on the terracotta-paved square in front of the white gazebo, between rows of tall trees. The bride arrived along the fountain pool; then readings by friends, the vows read by the couple with smiles and tears, the exchange of rings, the signing and the kiss, and the walk back down the aisle runner to applause.

Drinks in the courtyard

After the ceremony, drinks in the courtyard under the parasols, with the buffet and live music. From above, the drone filmed the farmhouse, enclosed by rows of trees in the middle of the fields.

Portraits in the park

From the arched doorway to the fountains, from the little bridge over the stream to the green pergola: we photographed Gaia and Giuseppe in the farmhouse park, ending in the Italian garden in front of the building with the small bell tower.

Dinner, cake and party

Dinner in the great hall with the fountain in the middle and the globe lamp posts, with little potted plants as centrepieces, the seating plan with photos and the shoe game. In the evening, the cake outdoors amid coloured smoke, the bouquet thrown from the hall’s balcony and the party under coloured lights into the night.
