The story

How it went, moment by moment

Getting ready

Andrea got ready in rooms full of mirrors and gilded furniture, helped by his loved ones with cufflinks, tie and jacket. Nicole, in her room with the dress hanging in the window, amid make-up, buttons to fasten and shoes, with the little bridesmaid and the poodle dressed up for the occasion.

The church ceremony

Nicole arrived in a white vintage car in the cobbled square in front of the church. Inside, the aisle with its white carpet, candles and flowers, the bride’s entrance, the vows at the microphone, the exchange of rings, the signing and the kiss at the altar. On the way out, rice thrown amid applause.

Between the stone gateway and the river

Before heading to the castle we stopped under the arch of an old stone gateway and along the cobbled path above the river, with the waterfall behind. From above, the drone filmed the river gorge among the woods.

Castello di Clanezzo

The newlyweds arrived at the castle in a vintage car, welcomed by their guests for drinks in the garden. Then portraits in the park: under the pergola with fairy lights, among the stone pillars and on the lawn in front of the loggia, with the castle in the background.

Dinner, cake and party

Dinner in the long hall with its wooden ceiling, with the seating plan written on the gilded mirror, live violin and voice. For the evening Nicole changed her dress: the cake under the stone pergola amid fountains of sparks, the bouquet toss, the first dance and the last portraits in the castle’s frescoed rooms.
