Ioana and Luca, a whole day at Solive Franciacorta

Ioana and Luca were married on 23 May 2026 in a civil ceremony at the town hall and celebrated at Solive, in Franciacorta, in Corte Franca. Portraits in front of a little stone church on the hillside, arrival at Solive by off-roader through the olive trees, drinks reception in the garden, lunch in the hall with exposed beams and a party under the portico until evening.

We followed them from getting ready to the party, by way of the vineyard rows at sunset and the cake cutting on the lawn facing the mountains. Here are the photographs, in the order the day unfolded.

The story

How it went, moment by moment

Getting ready

Luca got ready with his blue jacket hanging in the window, the cufflinks and the wedding rings on their cushion. Ioana put on her long-sleeved lace dress with the help of those closest to her, then came down the stairs at home, decorated with white bows.

“I do” at the town hall

The first look in front of the decorated off-roader, then the entrance into the council chamber among the guests. The exchange of rings, hands raised to show off the wedding bands, the signing and the kiss.

The little church on the hill

After the ceremony we stopped with the newlyweds in front of a little stone church, along the hedge-lined path and on the stone steps, with the hills all around.

Lunch at Solive

Arrival through the olive trees under a shower of petals, drinks reception in the garden with the buffet and the Solive wedding favours, then lunch in the hall with exposed beams and the first dances under the portico.

Vineyards, cake and party

In the late afternoon we headed out among the vineyard rows for portraits. Then the cake on the lawn facing the mountains with a toast, the bouquet toss and the party under the portico until evening.
