The wedding of Larisa and Lino

The story

How it went, moment by moment

Getting ready

Lino got ready in a frescoed room with a piano, first helping the little boy get dressed and then putting on his blue damask suit, among cufflinks, watch and shoes to lace. Larisa amid make-up, bouquet and shoes, the dress hanging on the door and the bodice laced up, before appearing at the threshold already dressed as a bride.

The garden ceremony

The ceremony took place outdoors, in the garden of Villa Canton, under an arch of white drapes and roses. Lino arrived along the stone path, then Larisa’s entrance, the vows read at the microphone, the exchange of rings, the kiss and the signing, and the walk out to the guests’ applause.

After the ceremony we took our time over the portraits in the park: the lawn in front of the villa, the ceremony arch between the fountains, the cypress avenue, the grassy island between the streams and the entrance staircase. From above, the drone filmed the villa and the Italian garden.

The reception

Dinner in the villa’s hall, with the favours, the toast and the couple’s kiss at their table and the first dances among the guests already between courses.

Between the courtyard and the staircase

Before the cake, in the cobbled courtyard and on the villa’s balustrade, the most playful portraits: Larisa leaning out like Juliet, friends throwing Lino into the air, the veil in the wind and a kiss on the entrance staircase.

Cake, fireworks and party

The tiered cake decorated with white flowers was cut in the garden, in front of the illuminated façade, then fireworks above the staircase with the statues. The bouquet toss, the couple’s dance and the party in the hall into the night.
