The story

How it went, moment by moment

Getting ready

Deborah got ready in her room with her friends in sage-green and blue dresses and the little flower girl with the ring cushion: make-up, hair with a crystal clip, the dress fastened button by button. Daniele with his friends, cufflinks, tie and waistcoat, in a room with a wooden ceiling.

Villa Laghetto Monchery

The villa looks out over a pond with water lilies and an islet with a gazebo, surrounded by paths lined with palm trees, beds of red flowers, statues and little bridges with lamps. From above, the drone captured the park among the woods and the white setting for the ceremony.

The ceremony on the islet

The civil ceremony took place on the islet, under the white gazebo, with the bridesmaids entering through arches of ivy and the bride arriving by car. The exchange of rings, the sand ceremony with the little girl, the kiss and the walk out to applause and soap bubbles.

By boat, then drinks

After the ceremony the couple took a rowing boat round the pond, with the "Just Married" sign at the bow. Then drinks in the garden, with raw seafood, caprese, sharing boards and a wine corner with corks and grapes.

Portraits in the park

Between courses we went out into the park: the steps with roses and statues, the palm-lined paths, the little bridge with globe lamps and the stone benches by the lake.

Cake and party

In the evening the magician’s show, the first dance under the veranda and the three-tier cake on the terrace above the lake, with fountains of sparks. The bouquet toss on the lawn and the party among green lights and dancing into the night.
