The story

How it went, moment by moment

Getting ready

Samuele got ready at home with his best men, in a green suit: cufflinks, shoes to lace, drinks in the garden and bottles labelled “Samu & Francy, 25 maggio 2024”. Francesca in her room, with make-up, a tiara and the dress hanging on the wardrobe, her friends dressed in different colours and the sunflower bouquet on the stair railing.

The church ceremony

Francesca arrived in a vintage car and walked down the aisle of the baroque church. The vows, the exchange of rings, the kiss at the altar and the signing, then out in front of the church under a shower of rice.

Lake Iseo

Before the reception the couple stopped at the little harbour, among jetties and boats, and took a motorboat ride on the lake, sitting at the bow with the mountains behind them.

At the Aquarium

At the Aquarium the guests found the lakeside garden, the hall laid in white, blue, red and yellow, and the seating plan with little magic-themed bottles. A toast at the top table in front of the windows and, at sunset, the last portraits on the lawn and under the tree on the shore.

Cake and party

In the evening their friends carried the couple shoulder-high in the garden, then the sugared-almond table and the cake on the lakeside terrace, amid smoke and purple lights, with the couple’s cake topper. The bouquet toss and the party in the hall until late.
