The wedding of Elisa and Nicola

The story

How it went, moment by moment

Getting ready

Nicola got ready at home with jacket, cufflinks and black shoes, and a family toast before heading out. Elisa, between make-up and hair, laughed with her friends on the bed; beside her the rings, the blue garter and the white trainers reading “Elisa & Nicola, 20 giugno 2025”. Then the backless lace dress and a long hug before leaving.

The church ceremony

Nicola waited in front of the church with the bouquet in his hand. Elisa arrived by car and walked in along the red carpet of a large church with a chequered floor, red drapes and white flowering trees. The exchange of rings, the signing and a kiss with the veil raised over them; on the way out, arms in the air and a shower of rice.

Between the mountains and the water

After the church we moved on for the portraits: a gravel path between stone walls at the foot of the mountain, a terrace with red flowers overlooking the water, an old stone building and the meadows along the shore, with the mountains behind.

The park at Corte Priore

At Corte Priore guests found drinks and the welcome sign. Elisa and Nicola strolled through the park, among the white tables, the fairy lights and the colourful flowers hanging from the trees, then between the vine rows, until they lay down on the lawn. From the drone, the guests dancing in a ring around them.

Dinner, cake and party

The couple’s entrance into the reception room was greeted by guests waving their napkins. The cake was cut under the portico amid fountains of sparks, then the dessert buffet, the bouquet toss in the illuminated park, the first dance and the party on the dance floor until late.
