The story

How it went, moment by moment

The morning of getting ready

Davide dresses in his room, the light-blue jacket hanging on the French window that looks out over the garden. Jessica does her make-up at the mirror while the dress waits by the window beside the bouquet of white roses; then the lacing and the veil.

The lawn and the décor

On the park’s great lawn the white chairs are already lined up before the arch of white and light-blue flowers. Along the aisle, a bunch of hydrangeas and roses, and two chairs reserved for those who are no longer here but live on within them.

The ceremony in the park

Davide comes in through the green passage with the children of the procession, then Jessica arrives. Readings from friends, vows read into the microphone through a few tears, the exchange of rings and the kiss beneath the arch.

Drinks and lunch

The toast under the pergola, the seating plan and the outdoor buffets. After a few shots in front of the ivy wall, the entrance into the fireplace room and lunch, with toasts, speeches and kisses.

Sunset in the park

In the late afternoon the guests formed a big heart on the lawn, seen from the drone. Then Jessica and Davide alone in the park in the sunset light: the lawn, the white bench, the green tunnel and the stone steps.

Cake, first dance and party

The cake beneath the flower arch in the courtyard, the bouquet toss and the first dance among the guests. Then the party under the portico, with the couple lifted into the air until late in the evening.
