How it went, moment by moment

Getting ready at home

Maurizio got dressed in the living room with his family helping with cufflinks, waistcoat and tie, then a few portraits in the garden. Francesca amid make-up and hair, the dress hanging on the wardrobe, a letter to read, the yellow and white bouquet with the wedding rings and the emotion of family and friends when she came out dressed as a bride.

The church ceremony

It was raining in front of the church, and the bride arrived among the umbrellas. Then the walk down the aisle on the white carpet, the exchange of rings, the kiss and the signing, and the walk out in front of the church amid thrown petals. From above, the drone filmed all the guests in front of the church around the heart with the initials F+M.

Arrival at Villa Valenca

At Villa Valenca the newlyweds arrived in the Italian garden amid coloured smoke, while the guests enjoyed drinks with live music. The seating plan among the lemon trees on the grand staircase, the centrepieces of yellow roses and the entrance into the hall with a toast.

The portraits

After lunch we explored the villa with the couple: the grand staircase seen from above, the wooden doors, the backlit windows and the courtyard with its box hedges. Then the park, with the long tree-lined avenue, the stone pergola, the pool and the wrought-iron gazebo among the flowers.

Cake, first dance and party

In the afternoon, games on the lawn with friends, the cake cutting at the foot of the grand staircase and the dessert buffet. The bouquet toss, the first dance and a party with silly glasses, masks and glow sticks, into the night.
