The story

How it went, moment by moment

Getting ready

Andrea got ready at home, with a hand for his cufflinks and a young boy in a blue suit straightening his tie. Ana was in her room with her friends in pink robes, amid make-up, cushions and laughter, then came the dress, the veil and the bouquet of pink and white roses.

The church ceremony

Outside the church, little girls held small chalkboards reading "Andrea, are you ready?" and Ana arrived in a white Beetle. The service, the exchange of rings, the signatures and the kiss beneath the veil, then the exit through rice and petals.

The lake and the villa

Before the reception, a stop on Lake Idro, on the red bench with the heart. On arrival at Casa Mascagni, the seating plan among ribbons and roses, the flowers on the tables and photos in the park, on the steps with the tulle arch and beside the Beetle in front of the villa.

Drinks and dinner in the park

Drinks in the garden with the chef cooking by the pool, then the couple’s entrance to a wave of napkins and dinner outdoors among the willows and the fountain. Ana, in her second dress, even took the microphone.

Sunset

As the light faded we went back into the park with the couple: the avenue with its lit street lamps, the rose beds, portraits lying on the grass. From the drone, the illuminated villa, the pool and the tables under the lights.

Cake and party

The first dance among coloured lights, the entrance with sparklers, the cake cutting by the pool with sparkler fountains and fireworks. Then the bouquet toss and the party under the portico until late at night.
