The story

How it went, moment by moment

Getting ready

Andrea got dressed in the rooms of Le Cantorie, with cufflinks, a light blue waistcoat and hugs from his family. Veronica began the day with her friends, a toast and a few jumps on the bed, then make-up, the dress hanging on the wardrobe and the final touches before heading out.

The ceremony under the gazebo

The ceremony took place on the terrace, under the gazebo overlooking the hills, among red and orange flowers. Veronica arrived along the stone portico and was walked to the altar; then the readings, the vows, the exchange of rings and the ritual of colours poured together into a single vase. The kiss, and the walk out under a shower of petals.

Drinks and toasts

After the ceremony, toasts on the terrace with the guests and drinks attended to down to the last detail. The seating plan hung on an old wooden door, between the stone walls.

Portraits among the vineyards and cellar

In the afternoon light we wandered the paths among olive trees and cypresses, under the vine pergola heavy with grapes and along the trails in the hills. The last shots were in the cellar, among stone arches, bottles and barrels, glass in hand.

Dinner, cake and first dance

Dinner was served outdoors in front of the cellar at sunset. In the evening, the cake cutting among floral arches and sparkler fountains, the bouquet toss and the first dance on the lawn.

The party and the fountains

The party carried on indoors with coloured lights and dancing. To close the night, Veronica and Andrea danced among the illuminated jets of the fountains until they were completely soaked.
