The story

How it went, moment by moment

The morning at the villa

Nicola got ready in a frescoed room, with friends helping with cufflinks, tie and waistcoat, then took a stroll on the terrace. Meanwhile Elisa was in her room, with make-up, shoes and the dress hanging in front of the golden curtains, right up to the long lace train and the veil.

The ceremony before the loggia

The ceremony was held outdoors, on the white path leading to the arched loggia, among arrangements of pink roses and hydrangeas. Elisa’s entrance, the vows read into the microphone, the rings, the lighting of the candle and the signatures, then the exit to the guests’ applause.

Aperitif under the porticoes

The couple made their way along the villa’s porticoes for a toast with their guests, while the rooms were being set with round tables, flowers and wedding favours. A few photos on the stone stairs, glass in hand.

Dinner and sunset

Their entrance into the hall was a celebration, with napkins twirling in the air and a dance the moment they walked in. At sunset we went outside with Elisa and Nicola for portraits: in front of the façade, among the red roses, lying on the lawn and on the grand staircase.

Cake, fireworks and party

The cake arrived in the courtyard, in front of the illuminated arches, with fountains of sparks and fireworks above the villa. Then the bouquet toss and dancing in the hall until after midnight.
