How it went, moment by moment

Waiting at the castle

The day began within the castle’s red-brick walls, with the red carpet and white chairs already set out in the courtyard and the ring box in hand. Federico walked down the red carpet with his mother, in a burgundy suit.

The ceremony in the courtyard

Marina arrived in a green vintage roadster and entered the courtyard on her father’s arm, while Federico waited for her at the end of the red carpet. The vows at the table, the exchange of rings, the kiss and the signatures, then the exit under a shower of petals among the guests.

Portraits within the walls

After the ceremony we climbed up to the battlement walkways with the couple, among merlons, towers and brick stairways, with the veil flying in the wind. A few shots too beside the courtyard well and in front of the roadster, with the castle behind them.

Arriving at Villa Fenaroli

The roadster drove along the long avenue between the lawns up to the gate of Villa Fenaroli. In the frescoed halls the round tables were laid in white, with the wedding favours, flowers and the buffet; the guests greeted the couple’s entrance by waving their napkins.

Sunset at the villa

In the late afternoon Marina and Federico went out for their portraits: on the interior staircase with its red carpet, on the stone steps of the façade, in front of the gate and lying on the lawn, also filmed by the drone. A kiss in the empty hall before the party.

Cake and party

The cake was cut outdoors, in the courtyard in front of the villa, among sparkler fountains and white smoke, with the couple waving from the window. Then the first dance in the hall and the party, with microphones, songs and dancing late into the night.
